This is from a post I wrote on a website http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-205164 which the person who  has done the writing has done nothing but good things for this obvious case of greed that overtook a project that involved consultants, NYC Taxpayers and lot of theft. He seems to know a lot about what went on in at City Time with the detail of everything he knows but the one thing he does not realize is no one is always right.  There are times you can be off base with your opinion. That is why I have been having constant issues with him based on what he thinks my father was and what my father chose. My father was put in a bad position with the powers that be. If he was just a regular consultant on the job he would have never faced any of this scrutiny. It was the people he worked for/under that dragged him into this mess.  Just wait at some point I will be posting a document my father wrote prior to passing away about his job details and some other information that he wrote to defend himself in what he got caught up with.  I know I am his son, I will always believe in his innocence till the day I meet him again, but if I knew the facts that he had millions of dollars then I would not be able to fight for him or defend him and I will feel embarrassed to even think about it.

If a man was caught stealing $1,200,000 dollars from the New York City Taxpayers, would the government give back the money they seized from what you say is a corrupt business account which was what you say “dirty” money.

He did not steal money. That is all I am stating. You want to call him a guilty man for his incompetence to realize what was going on go right ahead.

How about this I will stop posting about his innocence which is something I will believe in with the fact because yes he was my father and I just know we do not have millions of dollars in stolen taxpayers money. I would give it back if we did. I am not a thief. I do not want what is not mine. Plus if he did it, and I knew it I would admit it. I would be embarrassed of what he did, I would not go make a fool out of myself on blogs I just know this is so far from the truth and you just have no facts besides what you “THINK”

Show me the MONEY he stole. He did not steal anything and that is what he got in trouble for correct? Just tell me what he is guilty of if he did not steal anything? Is incompetence a felony these days?

Everyone who is on trial realizes. Scott Berger did not steal any money. There was no money going in his pocket that he did not work for like every other consultant on this project.

A mobster’s son realizes his father is a guilty man because the life he saw with the lavish lifestyle you experience. My father lived a life middle class. He was nothing more or nothing less.

In the past you said the money trail follows my Father’s business account. You say he knows what he did. Do you have any proof? You cannot even say what he did. But he was guilty. He did not have millions of dollars. Would a Man with millions of dollars have a house going belly up?

And last but not least. I am going to be getting a check from the Federal Government for whatever money was left in Scott Berger’s Consulting Company.  My Father’s lawyer said it will be returned but will take time and to be patient.

So I will make sure to get you a copy of this check from the Government. But I bet it will still mean he is as guilty as you say still. I would have to have physical proof to ever say you are wrong and I will never have that, neither will you which is kind of funny.

You keep saying I am wrong and I keep saying you are wrong about SCOTT BERGER not about City Time.  I realize there was corruption. I realize it was a money hole scheme that was run by 9+ individuals but my father was dragged into this which you will never realize.

I am going to take all that money from the Federal Government and buy every shovel @ Wal-Mart and start digging in my back yard for this money you speak of? Are you looking for work? I could use an extra hand and I will have extra shovels.

Welcome to my website.  Hopefully one day I will add more to this website to prove my father was innocent of any wrong doing before his death occurred. He unfortunately passed away before his day in court and since has been labeled as one of the “cronies” behind the NYC CityTime Scandal. My Family and I know he was innocent of any fradulent money stolen from city tax payers and hopefully one day I will have the proof to explain that in detail.

It is very upsetting to read on certain blogs that people think his family would want to “kill” him off so we can keep the stolen gains. I find it pathetic how people hide behind their computers and say what they want.  For more information to what my father was involved with I will show you a few links and you can keep your opinions to yourself.

My Father worked hard for his money which included nights, weekends and even while on vacation.   The problem at hand was he was given a position to hire/fire consultants by his boss Mark Mazer. What these consultants do not realize is everyday my father would fight for them to stay and thought he was going to be fired for sticking up for some co-workers.  They seem to think my father was involved since Mark and him had a business relationship with him being his boss.  A lot of people have some certain feelings that he was involved in stealing NYC Taxpayers money, but in reality he was just being used as a “mark”.  It is funny how people do not consider innocent people get dragged down into corruption without knowing but that is the world we live in.  He was charged with stealing  $ 1,400,000 out of $80,000,000.  On the contrary that was his salary to his company SRB Consulting for the 5 years which can be proven with working with the City Time project.

My Father was lucky to have received an inheritance from my Grandfather which was land in New Mexico. He sold that land a few years after receiving it.  He decided to build a home for his retirement in Tampa, Fl.  People who he worked with perceived that my father built that house with stolen tax payers money. They were completely wrong.  This house is now belly up with the real estate in Florida going drastically down hill. Sounds like someone who has millions of dollars would do that.

Unfortunately my father’s business account was frozen when all this scandal took place.  There was  a robust amount of money in the account which was $7,000+ dollars.  He did not have to go to his secret safety deposit box with a duffel bag like other defendants were doing days after the arraignment.  He did not have 2 Long Island Mansions in his name, he did not own a pre-school that was found taking other city contracts after the fact, nor did he have 6 brand new cars in his name.  Plus he did not have a reputed lawyer Gerry Shargel who has has represented former mafia boss John J. Gotti in his back pocket. That is who Mark Mazer has representing his whole family. Oh if you did not know yet, Mark Mazer, his uncle, his wife and Mark’s mother were apart of the original indictment and when the 2nd indictment was handed down in February 10th I believe a distant cousin of his was added as well. What I believe is the government was going to use my father like a pawn for information and it back fired on them.  Of course the federal government  does not want to talk to his lawyer (who has said on multiple occasions he was innocent of any wrong doing and had proof of all said monies) anymore because he was taken off the indictment all together. I guess they got what they wanted, his death in court like many bloggers are saying he deserved.  Sounds like land of a free. How does the saying go again; Guilty until your proven innocent?

He was not making such a lavish living like his manager was.  Mark Mazer is the guilty person that dragged my father down this turmoil of a mess which ended up being a result in his death in my opinion.  A lot of stress and a tremendous amount of embarrassment was mounting like no other on his shoulders.  To have lived such a good life providing for his 3 sons, and a wife and to have to end it such a way I would ask no one to go through because I was there when he left and it was hard enough for me to deal with him passing on with such embarrassment over his head.  Hopefully one day that will all go away for my sake
